Stayed for two nights, thorouly enoyed the experience, staff were most friendly and helpful, great sense of teamwork among staff. Food was excellent and extensive menu in the bar. Did not use dining room as closed on days we were here. Breakfast also very good. Hotel very well run and its old character and decor is most impressive. We will return when next in the area.
We really enjoyed our stay at Whitford House Hotel. The accommodation, food and all other facilities are first class. I have been staying at Whitford House for many years and it gets better and better. I would recommend Whitford House to anyone seeking a relaxing break. The staff and management are courteous and friendly. Liam White.
The hotel was excellent in every way. The staff were extremely friendly and the bar food was top class.
Very friendly ,great service family run hotel,we had a lovely stay
loved the whitford hotel in wexford. stayed there last week had a fantastic time. staff where excellent very friendly.food was great and got a lovely large room, so delighted. location is excellent too as it's only 5 mins from wexford town. would have no problem going there again.
The hotel was nice, good pool , clean rooms. It is a bit out of town so you need transport My only gripe is that all the people on the Lidl breaks were isolated in a corner and given a limited menue. I do not think this is a good approach and one wouold be better simply doing B&B and organisaing the meals onself.
I had a most enjoyable stay at the Whitford House Hotel. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, accommodation was very comfortable and food was delicious. Thank you.
myelf and my partner stayed at the whitfod for 2 nights.we were looking to relax and unwind.we both really enjoyed everything about the hotel.especially the leisure centre. The staff were very friendly and the food was second to none.I would have absolutely no problem in recommending this hotel.
hi had a great night very good value will definitely book with lidl breaks again, customer service was fab, and hotel was very good
My husband and I stayed here with our 1 year old daughter. We booked a family room but I was very dissapointed with the size of the room. I was also very dissapointed with the travel cot in the room. It was tiny and had no mattress. I had to take the throw off the bed to use as a make shift mattress for her. On the plus side the hotel room would have been lovely for a couple. We had a fab big bed and thye bathroom was lovely. The pool was lovely too. The bar food was really really good and you get huge protions for great value. The breakfast was very very poor. On the 1st day mine was actually inedible. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is very well kept on the outside and in. Abit old fashioned but it was very nice. The pool was very good, it had a separate little kids pool then an area with a splash waterfall, a big seat with bubbles and a little area with an underwater earthquake of water, then you have the pool, etc. My kids loved the pool, although was a little chloriney. Food was good, selection was big and especially for the children, more than just chicken Nuggets or sausages...they had steak and salmon on their menu! Room was alittle on the tight side with two double beds in but we were on the ground floor so had sliding doors leading out to a little gated courtyard with a seat in. We only stayed a night so size was not an issue for us but could image you would be tripping over things if you stayed too long. The only thing that annoyed us alittle was as soon as we checked in we had to pay the balance up front (which was fine) but they included €15 for the 2 kids breakfast even though we were not sure if we would go to breakfast or just get something after checking out. It didn't seem policy as we went to another hotel after this on the same deal and they didn't charge us until we were leaving, which was great as we had missed breakfast so didn't have to pay for the kids. Overall though it was a lovely hotel.
We had a very pleasant mid week break at the Whitford Hotel. Food very nice and staff extremely helpful and pleasant. Leisure facilities nice. Would recommend.
Friendly staff and clean comfortable rooms
I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. We had a great 2 night stay in late april. The rooms are very comfortable, the leisure centre was lovely, but above all, the staff were fantastic,. they were so helpful and friendly. We would definetly stay again!
Very satisfied our stay.Staff courteous, room comfortable, food reasonable in quality and price. Heating however not quite good enough on a particularly cold few days.,.overall a pleasant visit and would recommend it to friends.
Lovely Hotel and nice were very welcoming.
