Great location beside train station. Short walk into centre of Sligo. Lovely bright room. Buffet breakfast was good. Food service finishes very early and no room service available. Lovely helpful staff. Bus to Rosses Point and Strandhill stop outside hotel. Good value via Lidl breaks

Lovely rooms, old style with modern touch. Very clean. Staff very helpful. Drinks were allowed for residents in lobby and bar, table service. Evening meal in bar very nice. The pool needs a bit of an update but overall a lovely hotel.

We had a wonderful say at the Great Southern Sligo. Rooms, facilities, staff were fantastic. It is so close to all the amenities, beaches, bars, restaurants and shopping centres. Great entertainment at the weekends in the bar, could not find fault at all. Kids loved the pool. Will definitely be returning, well done to all and thank you.
We are regular visitors to the Sligo Great Southern and find it very convenient for the train and bus station. The hotel is being gradually refurbished, which is great. It is very comfortable and we will certainly return.
One of the best in country staff very friendly food top class we will be back
Hotel is old and could do with a cash injection. However it is clean and comfortable. The food is good and it is very centrally located. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
