Area Description : The hotel is one of the most conveniently located hotels in Waterford. Waterford is probably best known as the home of crystal in Ireland but it is also referred to as the capital of the Sunny South East region of Ireland.
I love everything about this hotel . The staff are very friendly and helpful the food was lovely and the location is perfect. We will definitely be going back soon.

Good clean hotel, no issues whatsoever nice breakfast!
Nice hotel, clean and staff were extremely friendly and helpful! The room was unbelievably warm and there only seemed to be one lift working most of the time, the dinner wasn’t nice at all but the breakfast was very tasty! All in all ok but probably won’t go back.

Stayed here for one night. Did the Waterford Greenway. Excellent central location. Modern hotel with spacious room. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent. Price very reasonable. Highly recommend this hotel.
Very pure selection of coffees in room, should be coffee machine. Only Irish breakfast... One type of yogurt... Definitely not 4star breakfast standards

There is not enough parking for hotel guests so we had to park near the quay which was 8euro per day. There is only a few spaces so this is probably the case for most guests. The intercom on entry to the parking lot didn’t work so we couldn’t speak to anyone. The pastries ran out in the morning at breakfast. The tv in the room remained on standby with no way to turn it off so a blue light shone all night. Location and room was nice but wouldn’t go again if I was looking for a 4 star.

The rooms were tiny and even though it’s central it’s on a side street and the only area to sit out in is used by smokers. No aircon in a 4 star ??. And We were there when the weather Was very hot

Lovely hotel. Room was spacious & clean I had salmon in the restaurant but was a bit dry. Other half had chicken & enjoyed it. Bar staff very friendly & accommodating. Good selection of food at breakfast buffet. Great location, 5min walk to shops. Very good value for money

I had a great stay at the Fitzwilton hotel. The room was modern, spacious and very clean. As was the bathroom. The staff were very friendly on arrival and throughout. The food in the restaurant was absolutely delicious. It is a great location as we only had to walk for five minutes from where we were dropped off our bus. Very lovely stay overall, will most certainly recommend this hotel and I will be back. Thank you!
We had a very nice stay in the Fitzwilton Hotel. The staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient. It was disappointing that we could not get a sandwich in the bar on arrival at 21.10. (Last orders are at 21.00) We had to get room service, which was very nicely presented and tasty. For people that don't eat full irish breakfast, I thought there was very little choice. The hotel is very central and easy to find. All in all I would recommend this hotel but I would not rate it as 4 star.
We found our stay at the Fitzwilton Hotel very enjoyable and relaxing. The staff are very professional and very helpful. The hotel rooms were comfortable and suitable to our needs. The food in the restaurant was top class and truly enjoyed our meal. The fitzwilton hotel is a hotel I would recommend and I will hope to book again in the near future
