The Harbour Hotel is a perfectly located for a visit to Galway as you can be in Shop St in 5 minutes. The hotel is clean and modern with all the facilities you would expect in a modern hotel. Reception area is lovely, couldn't be more helpful. Breakfast was excellent, apart from full Irish you had plenty of choice of fruit, nuts yogurts and croissants. I had a wonderful stay here and I will use this hotel for all my visits to Galway in future.

As good as any four star hotel we have stayed, and there has been a lot. Rooms nice and bright, clean, but a little cold for October. Reception staff excellant. Dining room and bar very well staffed, very good food and a nice pint. I would give this hotel 9/10. Andy Dublin

mary and i really enjoyed our stay the hotel is very well maintained clean friendly and the breakfast was as goog if not bettedr than any other hotel we have visited we must mention the young lady who lookek after us every morning christine was her name having worked in the hospitality industry for the best part of forty years the oly gripe i would have relates to the tables outside which i would consider to be an extension of the bar were not looked after at all only once in four days was the tables cleaned and although the ashtray was emptied it was not washed at all during our stay that said i would encourage others to stay in the hotel

Hotel fab great location only complaint was we ordered 2 seafood chowder and a bottle of wine when the chowder arrived there was one piece of slamon in both the size of a 10 cent coin that was the only seafood in the dish we returned it and did not order any more food. the bill came for the wine and we were overcharged when i complained to the receptionist who was on that night she retuned the money i said the money wasnt the real issue it was the also the food and i was told whats you problem you got your money back thought that was a bit rude of her. Stayed 13-15th dec.

Stayed at the hotel on October Bank Holiday, enjoyed our stay, within walking distance to shopping areas and enterainment at night. In Eyre Square to see our new President Ml. D Higgins didn't expect it when i booked the hotel nice to be there on such a historic occasion.Amazing choices for breakfast - smoked salomn cheeses etc. Busy hotel staff very pleasant and helpful, decor beautiful only downside was our room was at front of hotel so woken early by the traffic. Would return again.

Hotel is not bad rooms are quite good the only complaint I would have is the dinner menu there is only a choice of three starters, 3 main course and 3 deserts. And the menu was nearly the same on the two nights we were there. The Breakfast was very good I would go back

Had a very enjoyable stay. Location is so handy for walking around town - not picturesque but it is in centre of Galway. Accomodation and food excellent and staff very friendly. No noise in bedroom even though the hotel is alongside a very busy road. Recommend this hotel and will use it again
