We had a lovely time here, staff were wondering and so helpful. The food was fantastic. Room was a bit tight for 4 but we managed. Will definitely return and recommend this hotel to friends.
Friendly welcome. Well-equipped room. Excellent value for money. Plenty of parking behind the hotel. Breakfast and other meals of a high standard..Plenty of channels available on television. Good internet connection.
Really enjoyed my stay and found all the staff to be helpful, friendly and welcoming. The room was lovely and the food was delicious. I hope to stay again soon.
Everything about hotel and staff was excellent
I would have to say this hotel is a top hotel from the staff to the food and also the entertainment they were all excellent i would definitely pay this hotel a visit again
This hotel was lovely, staff could not do enough for you. The room we got was lovely & spotless. The only thing I can complain about was the breakfast, was cold on both mornings, crispy potatoes were burnt & cold & poached eggs were hard, other than breakfast this hotel was great.
Lovely staff ,nice food and a good sleep.would definitely recommend a stay and great value for money
This is my second trip to the Headfort Arms The staff are so nice and very friendly The owner came over to our table for a chat and asked would we like cocktail sausages and wedges courtesy of the hotel. The food is of the best quality and rooms very clean I would highly recommend the Headfort to anyone looking for a break It,s a fabulous place yo stay

Had a lovely time staff were excellent hotel was beautiful and spotless
Excellent stay. Beautiful Hotel. Staff lovely. Food delicious.
We had our wedding reception in the Headfort 20 years ago and returned to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The staff and the hotel couldn't have been nicer, from reception to the bar to the restaurant and housekeeping. The food was excellent, we ate in the restaurant and had breakfast the following morning. They pulled out all the stops for us. We had the bridal suite, a bottle of bubbly and treats on arrival and also a special dessert surprise in the restaurant for us. We had a great time and would highly recommend the hotel to anyone.
Had a lovely stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food and accommodation was lovely ???? if ever in the area, would definitely book the Headfort Arms again.
Enjoyable stay apart from breakfast which was totally disorganised no one to direct you regarding cereals etc tables not set and long delay before anyone came to take your order food service poor all round
Fantastic hotel, room was spotless bed was so comfortable breakfast was lovely great variety
Very pleased with hotel. Nice staff, great food, great room except for noise coming from hotel heating or some machinery?
Friendly staff nice and clean good food! Free upgrade to!
Beautiful hotel, friendly staff and we had a comfortable clean room.
Leisure Enjoyed our stay Staff excellent Food lovely
very disappointed with the food, evening food burnt! and breakfast was only warm and served on cold plates. maybe we were just unlucky.
Fantastic hotel and lovely staff, the whole stay was perfect from the Spa room treatment to the afternoon tea which was amazing would recommend this hotel
While the room we had was small it had everything that we required. The staff are exceptional so friendly and professional. The breakfast was fabulous and we couldn't fault our stay . Bathroom could do with a little updating as there were a couple of cracked tiles but apart from that it was very clean and functional. Will definitely be visiting again
We had a very enjoyable stay. We were looked after very well by the staff and all the facilities were excellent.
Excellent food and service. Fabulous and friendly staff team.
The staff were v
Really enjoyable one night break in this lovely hotel, everything brilliant, we will be back and thank you
I recently stayed twice in the Headfort Arms for an overnight break - in Feb 2011 with my pal and then again in March 2011 with my husband. The staff are so helpful, friendly and nice. The rooms were comfortable, warm and the shower head was great in the bathroom ! The food in the Vanilla Pod restaurant is fabulous and the lounge was comfortable and enjoyable with free live music on both visits. I availed of the spa on both occassions and it was pure bliss. I love this hotel so much i cant wait to go back again. The breakfast next day was delicious. Just one note though, as the hotel hosts alot of weddings, 21st and hen partys and it has a nightclub too, make sure to ask for a quiet room when booking if you might be affected by noise. We availed of the nightclub and late nights on both visits so the noise didnt bother us !!
When we arrived we greeted by very friendly and efficient reception staff. The rooms were a good size with a lovely bathroom. We awoke late for breakfast the next day (beds very comfy) but when I rang reception we were told to come down for breakfast. Breakfast was fantastic. We didn't eat in the hotel restaurant so I could not comment on that, I would recommend a stay at this hotel. Margaret Westmeath
Stayed here on new years eve and had a great time. The hotel is lovely and the staff could not do more for you. We had a lovely meal in the resteraunt where there was plenty of good quality food. Amazing value for money. Our waitress even walked us into the pub next door to ensure we didn't have to pay an entrance fee (as we were staying on hotel) Would highly rate this hotel.
Stayed here after wedding. Lovely hotel with great breakfast. Good value for money. Comfortable rooms.
A wonderful hotel, deserves to be upgraded to 4 star. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We could not praise it enough.

My husband and i stayed at the headfort arms hotel recently and could not fault it, staff very friendly and efficient, food very good, clean what more can i say and i would highly recommend the hotel
We found this hotel to be very comfortable, room maybe a little small but spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly. We had carvery lunch in the lounge, dinner in the restaurant at night and breakfast, each meal was excellant. Over all we had a very pleasant stay. Regards Christine and Robert Mckeone
Comfortable, clean and friendly. Food in the Vanilla Pod resturant was outstanding.
This is a really comfortable hotel, with a very relaxed atmosphere. We had a very pleasant stay. The staff are very helpful but inobtrusive. The restaurant is also very good, but the only thing we didn't like was when we went in for dinner we were handed a 'special menu'. We had no problem with that but it just felt like a bit of segregation. Overall, this was a small issue and our stay was otherwise extremely pleasant.
We had a wonderful stay in the Headfort Arms. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again without a second thought to it. Susan Hughes
