We stayed for 2 nights and had a great time. Beautiful setting and the bedroom was extremely spacious. The Staff were extremely helpful and most accommodating to our elderly parents. Can't fault this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone, for a short break with great surroundings

My wife and I had a lovely 2 night stay . Breakfast was lovely and the meals in the restaurant and bar were very nice too. Its was only a short walk into the town with very friendly people in the pubs. Would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again.

We have stayed at the Sneem Hotel 5 times in the context of the Lidl breaks and each and every time we have had a wonderful visit. The staff in the hotel are wonderful and the facilities are great. Its like a home from home. We are already planning our next visit in 2018.

Sneem Hotel is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. It has everything you need for a very relaxing and comfortable weekend. The bar food is lovely, the restaurant first class and the staff are so helpful and nice. The view from my room was breath taking especially at sundown with the sun setting behind the mountains, reflected in the water. The short walk along the shore line back into the town of Sneem has great views of the inlet and the town. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Rooms are spacious and have everything you could need. The Bar and Restaurant are very relaxing and friendly atmosphere. A perfect break.
Stayed in Sneem hotel for 3 nights during Halloween mid term break with family, 2 girls (10 and 7) and 3 month old. The receptionist in the hotel advised us to go into the village for trick or treating and our girls had a great time with all the shops and bars welcoming the trick or treaters with bucket loads of goodies. The hotel is modern and clean and all staff are very friendly, food is very good including the evening meal that was included in our package. The Sneem area is absolutely beautiful, including the nearby Derrynane Strand which is fabulous. We'd absolutely recommend this hotel for a family break.

Sneem Hotel is pet friendly and thats what makes the difference between us going away and staying at home. Our dog can come with us and enjoy the most pleasant surroundings and beautiful setting. Why shouldn't he sit outside on the patio enjoying the breath taking views with us. Food excellent and staff are a credit to the establishment.
This was our fifth visit to Sneem Hotel and have really enjoyed each time , good food very pleasant staff looking forward to our next visit.

Had a really good time here. Staff were fantastic and the food is just so good. There was entertainment on in the bar on Saturday night and that was really good. My only objection was the room we were in was at the front of the hotel not to good of a view and we asked would it be possible to get a room to the back of the hotel there was a room available for the two nights that we were there but they wanted to charge €20 extra per night for the privilege be warned. Everything else was ok.

Fabulous hotel with stunning views. We asked for sea view rooms and were not disappointed. Large, bright, clean and fresh accommodation. They had new staff in who were a little bit muddled at times, but generally very nice. My only down point would be charging €3.50 for a bucket of ice and €5.00 if you want glasses with it! Would visit again. A lovely break.

3rd visit on the Lidl breaks, dinner bed and breakfast. 10/10, no fault, the room and bed were comfortable spacious and clean ( sparkling actually). 2 course dinner was lovely although the exact same menu as 2015 and their breakfast bacon is really good. My only criticism would be their brown bread - its poor. I would reccommend the Sneem Hotel without hesitation and look forward to visiting again before the year is out

We have stayed at this hotel four times now and it is still one of my favourites in all of Ireland. We were given a large room with a view of the lovely bay and although the weather was wet it was nice to look out at it. The food was excellent with plenty of choice for dinner. If you wanted steak it was €5 supplement and lamb at €10, which I thought was excellent but too dear. There's plenty of fried food and fruit and cereals for breakfast but no continental as in ham, cheese or smoked salmon. There is also good wifi throughout the hotel. We are looking forward to our next stay which hopefully will be soon.

We just booked at the last minute for an overnight break. Great hotel, wonderful quality, very comfortable and commodious room, excellent service from friendly and helpful staff. Although not busy (weather not helpful!), everything was "on": really enjoyed our dinner. We will return, and hope for better weather to enjoy more of the facilities and surroundings.

Multi-Channel TV, coffee/tea facilities and secure safe. Bar: Well stocked with supply of craft beers. Breakfast: All you can eat cooked breakfast as well as cereals and breads. Evening Meals: Good selection of starters and main courses. Staff: extremely friendly, courteous and helpful.
we had a wonderful two nights stay in the Sneem Hotel the Saturday and Sunday 17th and 18th of October, the hotel is very clean and well taken care of, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely and big, very clean, the bathroom was sparkling, the food in the bar was very good and the service was also very good. we ate in the restaurant the second night and our waitress was very friendly and made us feel very comfortable. the food was very good. the hotel grounds are beautiful and you can take a lovely walk close by. all in all it was a great break in a great hotel.
Stayed in this hotel for two nights in October. I have to say it was a wonderful experience. The staff were so helpful and friendly and the service was excellent. If it is a quiet weekend away you are looking for then i would highly recommend this hotel. You could actually hear the leaves falling off the trees it was so peaceful...

We had a lovely stay in the Sneem hotel and would recommend it. Our rooms were spacious and clean, the beds very comfy. Staff were friendly. We got a free upgrade as I had asked for rooms with a view, as we were celebrating my parent's 50th Wedding anniversary. There were chocolate dipped strawberries and and a plate with Happy Anniversary inscribed in chocolate on it. A very nice touch. the hotel is a 2 min walk to Sneem village which is lovely also and a good place to be based for exploring the Ring of Kerry. Sharon
My family and I enjoyed a one night stay at the hotel. We were guests at my sisters wedding . Facilities at the hotel were excellent . Rooms were comfortable and modern and the food was great. We would like to stay at this hotel again in the near future.

Overall, I had a lovely time in the hotel. The rooms were lovely and spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and accomadating. Breakfast was good and the dining room was lovely with nice staff. The hotel was very nice upon entering, however, I thought the outside was quite shabby, and when we pulled up I thought it was not going to be nice inside, which it is. The main entrance needs a bit of TLC and I felt it was a terribe pity that something so small should be neglected. Also, the single beds pushed together to make a double were at different heights. I let the receptionist know this before leaving. Its lovely hotel that just needs a little more attention. Other than that I would recommend it.
Great weekend at the Sneem hotel. The rooms were nice and very clean, the staff are quite friendly and the views are gorgeous. The leisure facilities are not the best so I wouldn't recommend if you are looking forward to a nice bubble in a hot tub or relaxing in the sauna, not well taken care of like the hotel itself. Overall I would recommend.

Our stay was 3 night B&B with evening meal super relaxing Hotel, we loved it,staff very helpful ,room great, food lovely.Great views ideal location for the Kerry way ,Sneem was beautiful,Skellig Michael,Derrynane,basically everywhere. Would return again loved it.
Stayed here for or 20th Wedding Anniversary on the weekend of the 21st June. We found the hotel to be a great get away. When we arrived our room was not ready so we were changed to one of the sea view rooms and this was brilliant, with a floor length double doors to open onto a breathtaking view of the sea and the mountains in the background. We had dinner there the first night as we were on a 2 night 1 dinner package and the set menu had everything that you could want including a melt in the mouth steak. The bar also had a guest Blaskett blonde beer that was very drinkable and served Dingle gin which is comparable to Bombay Sapphire . Lovely hotel in a lovely setting, near the village and ideally situated to see Iveragh Pennisula. Please stay there.

We stayed in the Sneem Hotel for 3 nights. We ate most of our meals in the hotel and availed of the bar facilities in the evenings. It was a very enjoyable stay. The staff in the hotel were efficient, hard working and very friendly. Indeed the staff here and this area of Kerry know what the word hospitality means and are fantastic at making guests feel special. This hotel is well worth a visit and very worthy of it's 4 star rating. Thanks for having it on Lidl breaks. Regards William J.

My wife and I had a wonderful break in the Sneem Hotel in June. During our three day stay the staff were helpful, pleasant and courteous. The surroundings of course are wonderful and relaxation never a problem. The room was well appointed and the food enjoyable. The break represented great value for money and a further visit in the Autumn is something to anticipate.
We enjoyed our stay only wish it was for longer. The hotel staff were very professional , the town itself was warm & inviting to wander around .
We stayed in the Sneem Hotel in April and this was our 4th or 5th time visiting. That probably tells it's own story. We love this hotel very much for its location, its comfort and its staff. We booked reasonably late due to a family bereavement and were thrilled to discover that we were given a suite overlooking goldenseal cove inlet. This has to be experienced...a beautiful view which always what's my artistic appetite. The room was very generous in size, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Talking about appetites...the food is superb. The staff are , as ever the jewel in the crown and each member deserves great praise. It is just a stroll down to Sneem village or you can journey out to Caherdaniel and Cahersiveen or of course to Killarney. The road to Cahersiveen is awesome by the way. Over all it was a most enjoyable holiday break. Will be back........again?
The Sneem hotel has a wonderful setting and has fab views of the area. The hotel was of a very good standard, modern but very tasteful. The room was spotless and the food mouthwatering. The staff were most helpful. Well worth a visit, would recommend and I look forward to a return trip.
Stayed in the Sneem Hotel for one night while doing the Ring of Kerry. I must say that from the moment we arrived to when we left next morning that the service we received was brilliant. Receptionist was very pleasant and the bar staff were very informative in regards to letting people know what to do in the area. The room was spacious and very comfortable bed. We had the view over the car park but never mind the gardens are kept well and very tidy. I would recommend this hotel for a stay to many friends and family ;)
Outside and entrance not impressive but food, staff, cleanliness, good value and room dimensions and hotel facilities were excellent. Great central location for the scenic parts of Kerry too
We arrived on Tuesday 22nd of April and departed Thursday 24th of April. This is not the first time we have stayed at Sneem Hotel and each time we come away feeling like we were the most pampered couple ever. The hotel was perfect as always and the staff were superb both in their courtesy and efficiency. We got a beautiful suite overlooking Goldens Cove and it was like Heaven. We enjoyed a beautiful dinner which again was of the highest quality. Oh! And the sun shone....you can' together better than that. Sneem Hotel is absolute class.
Stayed with family, 2 adults and 2 kids, 7 & 10 years old. Lovely room, we only went with 'car park' view but still very nice. Staff friendly and very helpful. There was a kids club with a small charge (€5). The food in the bar and restaurant was good, only very slight criticism would be the breath of choice was not great but the food available was very good, with a decent selection on the kids menu as well.

Everything was lovely, we had a view of the water, the room was big and lots of towels and plenty of hot water . The hotel was quiet and it made for a good nights sleep , the beds were comfortable.. . We had dinner as per the offer on one night , there was a great choice and the food was lovely. . We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked in for a third night. All in all we plan to return to the sneem hotel

My husband and I spent two lovely nights in this charming hotel recently..it was a wonderfully peaceful break. The hotel is like an oasis of peace. We were greeted and welcomed very warmly.. A great start. Our room overlooked the lake and it was huge. The staff in this hotel really make it. They are very warm and friendly and helpful. We dined there the second night and we both loved every bit of our meal. The decor is fresh and very clean throughout. I couldn't fault anything and I'm looking forward to returning soon.

I stayed in BEWLEYS HOTEL LEOPARDSTOWN on March 15th 2014.. I would just like to let people know that the girl working in reception called NIAMH was so IGNORANT, RUDE AND SO UN-HELPFUL..she did not want to help us in any way and was very snappy.. "Thank god their was a manager their.. or else I would prob be still their..".. So hopefully Niamh you learn from this!! Advantages: I would really like to THANK the manager in charge that day( did not get her name) that helped us to push my car ( as the battery was gone flat) and also the 3 lads from the kitchen who helped too.. but most of all I would like to THANK the couple that pulled up (did not get their names either) and offered us jump leads!! Disadvantages: Bedroom was cold, TV was not working at all, No shampoo/ shower gel in bathroom. THANKS AGAIN TO THE MANAGER AND 3 LADS AND TO THE COUPLE WHO HELPED US!
I just love Sneem Hotel. I keep going back for special occasions or else just to do the walks and cyles in the local area. It is set in a most scenic place with fabulours views of the mountain. The rooms are spacious and the beds are really comfortable. The dinner is excellent with a great choice. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. It is a great base for travelling around the Ring of Kerry with the beautiful scenary, and the village has a good atmosphere. I have highly recommended this hotel to my friends and family who have also visited this hotel on numerous occasions. We are planning to go back again in the Summer already!

Hotel was nice but it was freezing . The gym , sauna and jacuzzi were a total disgrace . We travelled 4 and half hours for our break away and then we were charged double the rate when we were leaving . Staff were friendly food was okay . Ran a bath to relax before dinner and the water was green when I emptied it the bath was full of black sand .Needless to say I will not be returning here again

Setting is beautiful and the room we received was extremely Spacious and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel for a weekend break away.

I am just home having stayed in this hotel for a night with a group of friends. This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful scenic location. The rooms are very spacious – containing a super-king bed and a single bed. The room had all the usual facilities one would expect to find in a nice hotel, a good sized bathroom, multi-channel TV etc. We had dinner in the restaurant that evening and thoroughly enjoyed that too. Each person in the group was pleased with their choices from the menu. There was a gentleman singing in the bar and he was excellent. It was just a pity that the hotel was quiet (given the time of the year – late November) and the bar was not busy, lacking a bit of atmosphere as a result. I understand that the hotel is only open at weekends at this time of the year but it was lovely and warm and comfortable. The staff were all very pleasant and efficient. Breakfast was served until 11 am which was very welcome – too often breakfast service finishes early, even on weekends. There was a good choice available. There is a small gym, a Jacuzzi and sauna but no pool. The hotel is set in lovely gardens beside the sea. We all loved our time in the Sneem Hotel.

We spent three nights in Sneem hotel recently and had a most enjoyable stay. The hotel is first class with extremely friendly and efficient staff. Food was excellent, we had dinner there each night and the menu changed each day,food was absolutely delicious and presentation was superb,breakfast was v good, all kinds of cereals, juices, breads and of course the traditional fry! Our room was on the first floor, very spacious and clean with a beautiful view of the water and mountains. It is a really tranquil setting and we were sorry to have to leave but we had a very very enjoyable break. We will definitely return to this hotel again in the future as it is the best hotel in which we have stayed for a long time. It is situated in an ideal position for touring south Kerry. We have given it a 5 star as it truly deserves it. M and P, Roscommon.

Lovely hotel and lovely staff. Very welcoming. The hotel is pet friendly so we were allowed bring our jack russell. Sneem is a lovely village and the locals are very friendly. Food in the hotel was lovely, had a great breakfast both mornings that set us up for the day. Would recommend this hotel but ask for a view when booking (we were limited with the dog coz we were in the pet-friendly section!). This was a great value offer that we availed of and I'd go for it again.

Good points: clean, comfortable, nice views (from the lake side) easy walk to village pubs and restaurants. Bad points: bar and restaurant ambience is very poor. Breakfast would struggle to be average. Glad I got a deal on the place, because it really isn't a good 4 star hotel
Very happy with accommodation; excellent welcome and care by staff. We had a problem with the Lidl booking... offer was for 2 nights B&B for 2 with one evening meal; the inclusion of the evening meal was our reason for our decision to book. Apparently the evening meal was not registered ! Mistake or misinformatiuon?
We had a three day stay in the Sneem Hotel last week..I must say it was fantastic..the room we stayed in was beautiful..looking out onto the water and mountains..it was so peaceful..We found the food lovely and the staff very friendly..we will definately go back there again.

We stayed at The Sneem Hotel just Monday last week for 3 nights. We were very impressed with it. It is a grand, contemporary Hotel with all the facilities you need. We got there on the Monday and we were greeted most politele and by the lady on reception. The check in was fast and professional. We were given our door cards x 2, so one for each of us. The reception area is delightful with a large stone fireplace in the middle surrounded by sofa's and tables to relax by. The fire was lit which added to the ambiance. There are 2 lifts in the reception area side by side, so you never have a wait. Our bedroom was on the second floor, unfortunately not overlooking the sea but we could still see the Sneem Mountain backdrop. The room was very large and clean with a spotless en suite. Bed linen crisp and white & towels of the same standard. Large wardrobe space and a safe if needed. Modern tv which we hardly used as we were out and about so much. I couldn't fault the room at all. The breakfast the next day is served until 11am which is just fantastic as we were looking for a recharging break and needed the extra rest in the mornings. The breakfast room is large and bright & with a view of the sea and the mountain back drop. Its just so beautiful and cannot be explained, you must just go and see for yourself. The food was very good. Everything from Cereals, fruits salads, toast, pastries & traditional fry up. The service from the staff again was of a high standard & very warming and they talk to the customers. You can even sit out on the balcony if the weather is nice to have breakfast but we only went out to finish off our tea. Nothing better with the morning fresh air. We had breakfast there 3 mornings and ever day was of the same high standard. On the 3rd night we decided to stay in and eat dinner there also. We both had fish dishes and they were exceptional. We were sorry we hadn't had dinner there the previous night also. I have to say we were sad leaving this hotel but we will definitively be back. I didnt mention also the location is perfect for walkers. Its only 25 mins from Kenmare & the views down by Waterville, Valencia & Cahersiveen are amazing if you haven't been already. It was my first proper visit to South Kerry but I will definitely be back.

We got a lovely warm welcome at reception.We had stayed in the hotel before and remembered the view.We were given a room facing the car park and asked about a room with a view.30 euro extra.We actually took it and it was really worth it. Perhaps when making a special request on the booking form,ask for a room with a view and you might be lucky. The staff are really pleasant,we had a nice dinner and the restaurant is lovely and bright. Sneem is a lovely village with nice coffee-shops,bars and restaurants.

Had a great 3 nights stay!Was a break away with hubby,no kids so we had the leisure of taking it easy.Kayaking was literately at our back door and was brill.Hotel was gorgeous and the town a Sneem was lovely with a few lively pubs.Will be returning next year,maybe with the children this time.
Hotel is really nice, staff were excellent and the food in the restaurant was beautiful. I stayed here with my husband but the only negative about this hotel is I would love to stay here with my family but there is no swimming pool which is strange considering its such a new hotel and Ireland being how it is weather wise you just can't rely on the weather to go to the beach so you really need a hotel, but besides that I really enjoyed my stay and was extremely surprised that the todayfm breaks included 2 meals? as normally with supervalu its always just one meal so it was excellent value to stay the least.

As a 27 year old woman I was unsure as to how much I would enjoy Sneem hotel. I need not have been wary as I had a fantastic weekend with my partner. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from check in to check out. The room was spacious with a beautiful view. The reception area is lovely with a large fire lighting. We ate in the hotel both nights, The food was delicious with generous portions, If I am to be a little picky I would have liked to have seen a different menu for the pub and restaurant, same food is served in both areas however it was lovely. The town itself is lovely and just a very short stroll from the hotel. We enjoyed a drink too many in a couple of pubs on the Friday night and relaxed in the hotel bar the Saturday night with again a drink too many, There was a band playing old music but we enjoyed that immensely and had a great laugh. If you are looking for a relaxing break, Sneem hotel is ideal, best weekend away I have had in Ireland yet. I will be looking forward to returning at some point. P.s make sure to try their Irish coffee's.

Absolutely fabulous hotel. We had a lovely room overlooking the lake & mountains. All the staff are exceptionally friendly, especially the bar staff & reception. Had most of our meals in the hotel as the food was of a very high quality & so tasty. Only downside is Sneem village is quite a long drive from anywhere & there is nothing in the immediate area , but the hotel itself is a credit to it's owner & staff.

We stayed at the Sneem Hotel from 5th to 9th June last and had a wonderful time right from the time we arrived and were greeted by very friendly, helpful and professional staff. The accommodation, decor, food and service were superb, all in a very relaxing ambiance. The hotel is located beside Sneem, a lovely village in a beautiful part of the country with great walks and cycle trails and just short drives away from great scenery, beaches and golf. Nice hotel, enjoyed our stay. We were told our deal did not include tea/coffee after dinner but in fact it did and they didn't give it to us. Sauna etc. was advertisded as being open from 9 but when we went down at 9.30, they said it wouldn't be ready for guests until 11 as it was filling. This was very disappointed as we got up to go down before breakfast. Lovely breakfast!
Stayed in the Sneem Hotel in May 2013. We had a lovely stay, rooms were clean and comfortable, staff were very pleasant and helpful , the food was very nice and the rate was very reasonable with the Today FM breaks-I would recommend staying there (and have already recommended it to work friends). its a great deal. Our stay was very comfortable, the room was really lovely with a fantastic view of the bay/mountains. Would recommend this hotel for any short stay as its location is quite remote from any built up area. The village of Sneem is lovely and caters for most needs. Fabulous hotel, the staff were so nice and friendly and went above and beyond there call of duty to accommodate us very helpful, the room we had was very comfortable and the food was Fab . We would really recommend this hotel could not fault it we got a Fab rate and we really enjoyed our stay.
Despite an initial problem with the door lock, it went uphill from there. Response to the problem was initially poor at management level but better at operational level and we had a wonderful weekend with a great comfortable room, fabulous food, genuinely friendly staff in well appointed and comfortable surroundings. Only reservation is the wine list which is limited and overpriced, but you can't get it all at these prices - they have to make money somewhere! We have already recommended it to several friends and will definitely be back again.
Having "discovered" Sneem hotel about four years ago we have been back about ten times since.The frequency of our stays indicates how much we love the place. The hotel is situated in a stunning location overlooking Kenmare Bay.The rooms are spacious and airy.The staff are always very charming and helpful.The meals are always excellent. I can thoroughly recommend the place and I have every intention of going back there again very soon as it is a wonderful oasis of calm and peace.
Excellent food, steak was an additional 5e supplement OMG it was just fab with salad and chips. breakfast was the the nicest we have ever had and the staff could not have been nicer. I would deffently go back there.

era was grand, Hotel is nice, Rooms were nice, our view was of the car park though not of a lake or mountain as promised so i would suggest asking for the scenery if you want it. The town itself is tiny, very little going on but grand spot to get in and around Ring of Kerry. We ate in the hotel for Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner. Dinner was delicious, all 3 courses :-) Breakfast was fine/adequate. Lunch was a bit of a let down, menu on the boring side and when we got the seafood chowder the brown bread was a bit stale. Overall it was nice for the price you pay through lidl breaks but i wouldnt pay their actual price on their website.

We had a great stay here. The hotel is lovely- modern and clean. The staff were brilliant and although it was quiet the night we stayed, there was still a good atmosphere. The food was fantastic as well. Sneem itself is gorgeous - really pretty and quaint and well worth a wander around! All in all I would recommend a stay in Sneem Hotel to anyone looking for a nice time away.

I had prearranged that they put a birthday candle in one of our desserts and they remember. It also had iced Happy Birthday on the plate, really nice touch. There was a guy playing guitar & singing in the bar which we really enjoyed. We will definitely go back again.

Stayed 1 night B n B and evening meal on 6th oct. not our 1st time and certainly wont be our last! From the moment we arrived the staff in all areas were so friendly and helpful, a credit to management. The room was spacious, spotless with lovely crisp bed linen and soft white towels. The food was excellent, well done Lidl for including this delightful hotel in your breaks!! We enjoyed some drinks and music in the bar that night in the company of a group of truckers on a charity drive around the ring of Kerry.I wouldnt hesitate in recommending the Sneem hotel to my friends!

Booked here for the 1 night dinner B&B which was incredible value!!!! The hotel has a beautiful location and we were very lucky with the weather on Sept 2nd and enjoyed a drink on the terrace looking out at the lake before dinner. The food was excellent. There were 4 in our party and we each had steak which was cooked to perfection. The desserts were yummy too. The rooms are very spacious with lovely big beds. Breakfast was excellent too. I look forward to returning for a longer stay.

We had a lovely time during our 1 night break to the Sneem Hotel. The views were fabulous as were the pretty hotel grounds. We opted to bring our dog with us for the night as it is a pet friendly hotel. I have to say, it was so nice to be able to do that and to be welcomed with our little buddy. We enjoyed a nice dinner at the restaurant that evening and a few pints in the local pubs later on. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to my friends and family.

HI All We have just returned from a superb couple of days in Sneem Hotel Kerry. Where do I start --- We had the most faboulous time and we had a super room with a breathtaking seaview. We were so lucky to have only 3 hours of rain and even then it was magical. We found the hotel to be perfectly positioned fro touring the Ring of Kerry breathtaking views. We had planned the trip knowing that weather could be the typical Irish summer and went preparred. We went on fantastic walks and enjoyed our time in the town/village. I am in the hospitality business and I shall recommend it highlty .The staff and food in the hotel were first class. We usually go on cruise holidays. We will definately return to Sneem. We were very impressed with The Sneem Hotel. The room was large and very comfortable. The bed was a proper kingsize (6 ft) with duvet rather than those awful blankets. The food was great: breakfast and dinner, with plenty of choice. There was no sense of penny pinching. Indeed we wondered how the hotel could turn a profit on this deal. The staff at reception, in the bar and in the dining room were lovely: pleasant, chatty and helpful. This was our first Lidl break. I think we were very lucky and I would unequivocally recommend this hotel. 5 stars

My husband and I stayed in the Sneem Hotel for one night to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. It is a really lovel hotel situated within a few minutes walk of the beautiful village of Sneen. From check in to check out all our needs were catered for. The staff were extreemly helpful and genuinly wanted you to have a good experience.We had dinner at the hotel that evening and the food was top class.We enjoyed a few drinks in the local bars in Sneem that night and on return to the hotel we were pleasently surprised to see that the residence lounge was warm & welcoming for a night cap. We will certainly be returning to this hotel in the future and we would have no hesitation in recommending the Sneem Hotel for a stay in this beautiful part of Ireland.

Just back from my second stay at Sneem Hotel in the last month. Would highly recommend this hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpfull. They give advise on cycle routes and walks in the local area, they are just really helpfull. The area around Sneem is spectacular - the views from the rooms are magnificent. WE stayed in the Sneem Hotel for the weekend. It could not have been nicer. The staff were lovely and everything about the hotel was top notch. The food was fresh and beautifully presented. We will be back.
Oh my God, I have never experienced the 'natural' good service we received from the staff at the Sneem Hotel. They say that the Irish 'hundred thousand welcomes' is dead and buried - not here. We have stayed in many hotels where the welcome and good service are a bit forced but in the Sneem Hotel, you feel that the staff are totally genuine. Food was excellent. We followed a recommendation on Tripadvisor.com for the fish and chips in the bar. WOW - I'm not really into fish and chips but this was really good. The evening meal was just fantastic. WOW WOW WOW. To be honest, this hotel is in the middle of nowhere (sorry everyone from Kerry) but on the upside, we didn't have big parties of 'yobs' disturbing everyone's else's comfort. The hotel attracts guests who are more relaxed. The bar was full on Saturday night, the live music was superb and the 'craic' was mighty - but relaxed. The hotel is not stunning. No leisure centre. Hardly worth visiting the whirlpool and sauna. But when you wake up in the morning and open the curtain, the view was stunning. Dinah in the reception was particularly good and ensured we had a good view!!!!
