6 am flight just get up and walk to airport. Very handy
Really enjoyed our stay here, the hotel was spotless and the staff were fantastic! We will definitely be back to stay here
Service- excellent! Happy New Year! Thank you so much!
Lovely hotel, excellent location, lovely friendly professional staff. Rooms were great, good size and very clean and comfortable. Food was fabulous. Highly recommend this hotel.
Lovely hotel. Very convenient. Very pleasant staff.
We are an elderly couple and arrived very late at the hotel. Our bags were taken to the room which was so lovely and warm and we had a hot drink before going to bed. in the morning we had a lovely breakfast and the staff were so helpful as we have a bit of difficulty moving around. All in all we could not have had a better experience
First impressions was the hotel was spotless and reception staff very friendly. I liked the 3 seperate reception desks as it felt more private. On the way down to the hotel room there was signs on the walls to say that they where in the process of doing up the hotel. The room was fine everthing you would expect to find in any airport hotel. The only real problem i had with this hotel was that there was dinner inculded in our package and the hotel restaurant was closed so we had to eat in the hotel bar. Although the food was lovely you could tell the chap that was serving us was not used to serving food and kept making mistakes ( maybe he was only new). Over all i would stay here again if i got it for the same price
Extraordinary friendly and helpful staff at the reception. Room clean and spacious. Reliable shuttle bus to the nearby airport.
Room small but very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely too. Only downside was the fact there was no lift down to our room so we had to carry our luggage down two flights of stairs. Other than that it was a very comfortable stay.
Absolutely fabulous. - hotel staff very friendly, nothing was too much trouble, spotlessly clean, food excellent - highly recommend
excelent stay. staff very friendly and couldnt have been more helpful.
On arrival the hotel did not appear to have two rooms booked, we had reserved a family room and a twin room, fortunately we didn't require the family room, a double room sufficed, it took some time to sort out. Otherwise the hotel was fine even while under refurbishment, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ok but there were no Danish pastries or croissants available, as stated on the menu.
i will summerise this review to simply say that i would not recommend staying at this this hotel. i went there for a wk-end break with my three kids, we arrived and checked in, paid the balance of the hotel along with carparking for two nights, and got a print-off of same. the hotel was booked for two nights b&b, including two diners for two adults for the two nights, and agreed that i'd pay the balance for the other kids. the first evening was fine apart from the lack of staff in the restuarant and waiting time to be served. however the bother started by being woken up the next morning at 7.30 for the room to be cleaned as our room was marked down as being checked out, so that was the 3 kids up and about. more confusion over the breakfast and trying to get them fed as not marked down for having breakfast as 'checked out' according to them. went out for the day, back at 5.00, rang receiption at 5.45 to book diner at 6.30, to be told the resturant was closed, asked receiption was diner covered to get the bar-food in their bar. was told they'd ring back. when they did, was told diner not covered as was only for one night, not two. after emailing, ringing lidl breaks, etc, via my wife in another part of ireland, an hour later i went down to receiption furiously and asked to have car-park ticket validated to simply go and feed my children as it was now 7.45 (ages 5, 7 and 10), to be told by receiptionist that she couldn't validate ticket as car park not paid for, even though i'd room ticket/key in my hand. eventually after phone calls, with a gentleman in lidl breaks customer service who rang hotel and sorted it all out, got to feed my kids at 8.30. unfortunately i will not be returning to this hotel, dispite the hearty appology by the 'duty manager' the next morning, and promise of an upgrade the next time we stay. so advice is to have all documentation of what you're entitled to printed off and in your hand. this whole
My daughter and I were very happy with our stay at the Maldron. The staff were very welcoming. Room was clean. Shower worked well. Breakfast was very good and again served by very friendly staff. We used the express checkout as we had settled our bill on arrival. The shuttle bus dropped us off at our terminal for our flight. All at great value.
For airport convenience, friendly staff and delicious breakfast you wont beat The Maldron Hotel, Dublin airport. Mary Costello 5 Star.
Nice clean and very comfortable hotel. Staff all very helpful. Very convenient for an early flight. Good price and a carry out breakfast available for those checking out early. Recommend to friends.
I could not fault it for the money that we paid. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The staff were friendly. I didn't think the food was that great and a little over priced but can't really complain much given the bed and breakfast rate.
very comfortable hotel. lovely room but had to carry cases up small staircase lift only for use by staff. No problem for the young or fit. Check in can be very busy when only 2 staff on the desk. Helpful friendly staff. Would recommend hotel . 3 star rating.
The staff and the food were the best thing about this hotel. Staff were absolutely lovely in both the bar and the restaurant and the food was beautiful and really well presented. The rooms however were not so nice. They didn't seem that clean and they were dark and dreary. Bed was very uncomfortable and the room was stifling during the night. I had a very bad night's sleep. No lift to our room also so we had to carry luggage up flights of stairs. I would not stay at this hotel again but I would definately eat at the restaurant or bar as they were lovely. 5 stars for restaurant and bar but only 3 stars for the hotel unfortunately.
Hi We were very happy with our stay , The restaurant was fabulous , excellent food , staff very helpful and friendly . We did have to change our room but overall we were very happy .We would stay again . Id give it a 4star for the restaurant and staff , Room a 3star
No lift which is strange in an airport hotel where people would have heavy luggage. Signage not great around the hotel for room numbers or where reception is. Breakfast was ok but food left on the heat which left it overcooked. Especially the eggs and bacon. Parking is pricey.
WE STAYED FOR 2 NIGHTS AND FROM THE TIME WE CHECKED IN IT WAS SERVICE WITH A SMILE . THE GIRL WHO CHECKED US IN WAS VERY HELPFULL. OUR ROOM WAS NICE AND QUIET, THE FOOD WE HAD WAS NICE ,GOOD CHOICE MENUE ,THE BAR FOOD WAS ALSO GOOD SOWAS THE SERVICE. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME WE STAYED IN THIS HOTEL AND IT WONT BE THE LAST. LOOKING FORWARD TO OUR NEXT STAY IN YOUR HOTEL IN AUGUST. JOHN = MARTINA FOLEY 5 MAY
excellent hotel, staff could not have been any better, stayed night before I was flying out to Rome and left car in carpark for week, Bus service to and fro Airport excellent. Hotel Bar grub was also fab, would recommend hotel
Great location for airport. Comfortable Room. Good breakfast.
Great location and very welcoming staff.....dinner was lovely and staff in the dining room are fantastic....great free shuttle bus to the airport
stayed at this hotel on 16/11/2013 dinner b/b 10 people birthy 5oth great food great service steaks were excellent very good breakfast would go back from peter f
Great hotel, super stay, staff, food, bedroom, comfort all excellent. AK
I stayed there with my husband and 2 children on 31st Oct. The hotel was lovely. We ate in the bar and the food was fantastic. Service was very good. Room was nice. Breakfast was good. Overall i was very pleased with the stay and it was much closer to where we were going than i thought - it was only 12-15 mins from town. I would definitely recommend this hotel. I have booked hotels 6 times with lidl breaks and have ALWAYS been more than happy with them, And of course the value is incredible. Martina O'Hanlon
Thankyou for our pleasant stay, the staff were very helpful and food very good,we would stay here again..
very affordable, efficient, clean and friendly with good food. Had three children with us and everything went very well.
Clean and comfortable, perfect location 3 minutes walk to terminal 2 at Dublin airport. Food and drinks in hotel bar over priced otherwise no complaints.
Room was quite tiny but services were good
Nice hotel very quiet. Had a lovely dinner in the restaurant followed by a nice sleep as had early flight in the morning. Got the takeaway breakfast as were leaving too early for the full Irish (unfortunately!!!) Coach straight to the terminal, think it cost a euro per person. All in all would recommend this hotel and will definitely use it again when flying out on hols
Great hotel, nice and quiet, delicious evening meal and breakfast wonderful, walk to airport from hotel was very convenient, staff very nice and friendly, will definite stay again, Angela Kearney.
Nice Hotel, close the Airport! Diffrent Asian Restaurant, nice food.
i found the hotel, to be very clean, staff very polite, rooms were spacious, plenty clean towels, ideal the room has a fridge, the vending machines down stairs had everything from drinks to food, toothbrushes, travel plugs etc. the breakfasts had wide variety for everyone. ideal location next to airport but also ideal its close to town. the only issue i found was their was no lift in the hotel. would recommend the hotel to others defently and will stay again myself.
We stayed for two nights in the Clarion. It was very easy to get to from the M50 and we had parking at the hotel. The staff on check in were very friendly and helpful. We did dine in the dining room on our first night and again staff were helpful and service prompt, the menu was alright but probably not suited to our taste. However the breakfast each morning was very good and the times acceptable. The rooms were clean and the air condition was most helpful as temperatures were high while we were there. Would recommend the hotel for any type of stay, not just for its location to the airport, we were not flying anywhere, just in Dublin for an interview which was held at a hotel near the airport. It was very interesting sitting in the lobby and watching all the people coming and going. The Wi-fi was an added bonous
Nice hotel for late arrivals or early departures from Dub. Staff was good, restaurant was ok, nothing special. A bit overpriced if not on offer. The room was good, asked for a cot bed but never arrived. All in all, a decent hotel.
STAFF VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL ROOMS VERY COMFORTABLE AND CLEAN BREAKFAST VERY WELL PRESENTED FOOD FRESH BAR STAFF OBLIGED AND MADE SANDWICH FOR US ON OUR ARRIVAL WHICH WAS LATE SHUTTLE BUS REALLY APPRECIATED DRIVER VERY HELPFUL WITH BAGS AND GIVING DIRECTIONS I WILL RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL WHENEVER I GET THE OPPORTUNITY
The staff made all the difference, they are the biggest asset. Decor a bit dated. Very helpful restaurant and reception staff as well as housekeeping. Twin beds were rather close together but hardly the fault of the staff. Convenient to airport but not clear where pick up at airport. Would stay again because of staff. Kathleen from Galway
good value and convenient, ticks all boxes except parking charge for duration of stay
Stayed here 21/02/13. First the room key would not work so I had to go back to reception to get it activated, we opened the door to a tiny room with twin beds pushed together and no space at all.I rang down reception to complain and fair enough they did change us then to a perfectly fine room. When I said at reception third time lucky they did say sorry then but only after a prompt. Everything else was positive. The staff in the restaurant were very nice and friendly and the food was good. Very nice bed in room and no fault with breakfast. One small point it didn't matter but it is not a courtesy bus to the airport. The fare is €1.00 each return. All in all we enjoyed it and would stay again, very good location.
The hotel decor looks tired but the food was good, as was the hotel room itself, However, I was left waiting 50 minutes for a starter and twenty minutes for a glass of wine. The restaurant was not busy so i was very surprised. I also left an expensive pair of reading glasses in the restaurant at breakfast......when I phoned, the staff were pleasant but not helpful, not even asking for a phone number to call me back. Needless to say my glasses will not be returned. While the staff in the restaurant were very friendly, they seemed unprofessional in their approach. Not a great stay,
Very good overall Rooms need a bit of updating Sushi Salmon was not fresh. Staff friendly and helpfull Was woken up at 4am by drunk idot knocking on all the doors but that not the hotels fault. Shower was amazing !!
Great hotel, fantasticly close to terminal 2, 5 minute walk, great value for money, very clean and staff are more than helpful. 10 out of 10
Where in Ireland would you get such value as LIDl breaks... Having used Lidl breaks for the passed few years, when traveling to or from the Airport recently we find The Clarion Airport Hotel an excellant location.. But..But.. The only complaint I have is that we have been put in the Lower floor last couple of times with_NO _Lift & find it very difficult to lift the cases down or up 2 flights of stairs. ( It seems like we have been put down in the Dungeon) ...Havin had booked the hotel since last August I thought it could at least be on ground level... Our friends had to do with a smoking room, there was no other ones left... & they had booked a room some time ago as well .. It seems first come first served !!! Also the Carpet to those rooms are filthy dirty.. Having said that Food & Service was good.
Excellent food, friendly staff and efficiency throughout. handy not only 4 airport but aircoach takes u straight to 02 arena far cheaper than taxi.
Excellent value for money and very convenient for the Airport.
Hotel ticked all the boxes, very friendly staff who were very easy to deal with, room was grand, breakfast was lovely. Not much more to say really, would go back again.
Very happy with my stay
Excellent Stay, Great food, and great Value before our flights
Great. Walked to and from airport. So convenient. Clean, quite and reasonable food, what more does anyone need in an airport hotel.
We enjoyed our stay in the Clarion as we have on a number of occasions. The reception staff are a pleasure to meet and attend to our booking in a most efficient manner. The driver of your complimentary Airport bus is as always a gentleman and a credit to the Hotel. Till our next stay, good wishes to all at the Clarion Hotel. Kevin j Heraty Castlebar
Very Disappointed. On arrival aprox 12 midnight receptionist was a bit stand offish. Non smoking room unavailable. Smoke smell in room was overpowering and found it difficult to sleep breathing it in. Had luggage with us.No assistance offered. Told turn left then right and up one floor to find our room. No lift available. Breakfast room staff nice and welcoming. Breakfast good.Surprised it has 4* rating. Philomena
great evening meal great sleep breakfast only ok but all in all good value thanks
not very impressed, got room in the "basement" lower floor, no wifi available in the room. Sheet on the bed had large hole on the side, dont think this is acceptable in a branded 4 star hotel. Sevice and staff very pleasant.
Our first time at the Clarion Dublin Airport. Professional staff, dinner was excellent but,. the breakfast, at 6am was fresh hot and excellent. enjoyed our stay very relaxing and would recommend.
stayed at the clarion hotel at dublin airport,on the 10th febuary ,a great hotel very good price and so near the airport marion dunican
my experience staying here was awful.i was with my 2 children who were both swimming in the all ireland schools, we were down stairs to avail of our dinner that was part of the package and the service was truely awful , we had 3 different people serving us and their manner was just appauling we sat down at 7pm to eat and we had to wait until almost 10pm to get dessert, at no point were we asked for our room no or anything, then we proceeded to our room as my kids were very tired and we were in bed and i got a phone call and when i answered it i got :YOU NEVER SIGNED FOR YOUR DINNER: in a loud and aggressive husky voice ,i told her i was not aware we had to as id spoken to the 3 waitresses and the girl at recpt re our lidl meal, she asked me if she could come to my room to sign it and i said it was no problem... she never turned up despite me getting out of bed ...in the morning 3 other parents that stayed with their children had the same experience the same night..when i went down for breakfast with my 2 children and i was told i only paid for 1 breakfast despite having paid for 3 adults meals!!! luckily i had my reciept with me ....all of us agree that we were made feel like criminals and wont be in any hurry back
The room was clean und quite. The staff friendly. Wasn't able to order anything to the room exept pizza. I would have liked to have a light evening meal. Had to go to the restaurant where I also only could order a 2 course menue. Ordered warm goats cheese with salad and a glass of wine. On the plate were two thick slices of bread with cheese on top which was far to long unter the grill or in the oven. Was totally dried out. The salad? had to search for it on the plate. The wine never arrived. Was so disappointed that I payed and left with hardly eating anything of it and without even waiting for my dessert. Totally disappointet. Im sorry but I won't go back there again. For me, staying in a hotel means also enjoying the evening with a nice meal, sometimes even in my room.
Good value hotel, beside Dublin Airport. Hotel staff are friendly. Hotel is basic but comfortable
Very dissapointing - our family room had a sofa bed for the kids which was quite dangerous - they hurt their legs a couple of times getting on and off the bed due to the steel frame. The carpet was very dirty in the room and this is absolutely not a 4 star hotel. It has been the worst family hotel I have stayed in for a long time.
Great value for money booking with Lidl, Smokers paradise as you can smoke in the room.. Great breakfast and nice staff, rooms a bit rundown but clean and comfortable for one night.
Had a lovely meal & very good breakfast. Excellent value. Would definately book Lidl break again when flying from Dublin airport.
excellent location -frequent bus to airport- staff very helpful -
While the reception and public areas were very well decorated, the hotel room was very small, with no room for a locker on one side of the bed. The hotel is quite old, and I suppose there isn't much the Clarion can do with the rooms they got, with above floor pipework boxed in along the length of the room, further restricting the floor space. I wondered if Lidl Break guests end up being consigned to the oldest wing. The bathroom and shower were fine and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very good, and the dining room and reception staff were professional and pleasant. The shuttle bus to the airport, at only €1.00, was very handy. All in all a pleasant stay, but one wouldn't want to bring a cat for swinging.
I booked my friend into the Clarion Hotel at Dublin Airport to stay overnight for her flight the following morning. As time ran late my Husband and I decided to stay and keep her company as this was a difficult time for her and have a meal in the restaurant. The Staff at the restaurant were very nice and the meal also nice. The hotel itself left a lot to be desired. Most certainly not 4 star by todays standards, very dated, probably 4 star in the 70's. Non smoking rooms were in the smoking area hence the smell of stale smoke was evident on retiring to the bedroom allocated.I made this observation to staff and the told me all smoking were on the floor above not so .We arrived to the hotel at 7.00pm approx .When our friend went to her room the room was not ready i.e bed not dressed with Duvet on the floor with no bed linen, another room was allocated,an appolgy was given. There was no lift for guests, just luggage lift only which had to be opperated by staff. Assistance was offered .On opening the room to our bedroom later the smell of shake and was very strong so had to open the window for freah air.During the night had to close the window due to fumes from outside ? octane ! from the planes.Breakfast was good.On leaving the room I noticed an ash tray on the table in our room which was to be non smoking, should be checked, not recomended for guests with Respiratory conditions. In my experience the Clarion at the Airport not the place to stay definitely not 4 star. The only modern aspect was the Foyer area. The staff were very distant at the desk on check in and out.
More like a 3 star hotel. Major problem - no lift. Bedrooms are very basic. Restaurant food excellent. Breakfast is good but male staff at breakfast room desk is very unfriendly. Overall good food in a basic hotel.
Excellent hotel for the price I paid, unfortunately my "non-smoking" room stank of stale smoke, not the hotel's fault obviously, but perhaps it would have been wise to change the status of this room to "smoking" given the actions of the previous occupant.
We really enjoyed our dinner bed and breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful at the reception desk and in the restaurant. I would like to see the knives in the dining room changed as they are not comfortable to hold. We will defnitely return;
Really enjoyed our stay at the Clarion Hotel Dublin Airport.Room was really nice, although a little warm, even with the air-con on full. But I guess it was summer.Breakfast was good and plentiful.Staff very friendly and helpful.
My husband and I stayed for a night dinner bed & breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The friendly staff provided us with excellent service and the food was first class. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. Marie
Certaintly NOT a 4 star hotel. The Clarion served its purpose, an overnight stay before an early flight. The resturant was closed. I found this strange on a Sunday night of a bank holiday weekend and most annoying when the bar tender made a big deal of giving the kids their free meal in the bar afterall this is the package that they advertise. The bar food was very very poor especially for the crazy prices charged The hotel was very tired and in much need of a good clean... The kids high chair was filthy as was the floor. however I will say that the breakfast was excellent, maybe as we were the first to be let in having waited for an age at the other side of the curtain. The breakfast waiter was very stressed and when we asked him if a news paper was available he made it very clear that this was nothing to do with him and could'nt help us (he was on his own) I definately will not be staying here again!
we had a lovely stay .staff were so nice ,lovely hotel and so convenient as it is so close to the airport, fantastic value for money in these lean times ,well done LIDL SATISFIED CUSTOMER.DRINKS IN BAR were very expensive.
WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH OUR RECENT LIDL BREAK OVERNIGHT STAY WITH THE CLARION HOTEL AT DUBLIN AIRPORT.WE HAVE STAYED THERE PREVIOUSLY ON OUR WAY ABROAD.IT IS VERY CONVENIENT WITH EXCELLENT SERVICE ALL ROUND.WE WOULD HOPE TO AVAIL OF SAME AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.WE WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TO ANYBODY INTENDING TO STAY OVERNIGHT IN A SIMILAR SITUATION.WE HAVE NOT EXPERIENCED ANY LIDL BREAK IN ANY OTHER HOTEL YET. KIND REGARDS, TONY AND LILY O LOUGHLIN
the clarion hotel is lovely, excellent service, comfortable rooms and tasty dinners and breakfasts, have stayed there before and will do again. Excellent value for money
Stayed at the Clarion for one night 20th to 21st May.We got a smoking room as there were no non smoking rooms left,so we got a bigger room. The staff were pleasant but the hotel is dowdy, the room smelled of stale smoke neither my husband or I smoke. The taps on the washand basin had the hot & cold indicater missing looked pretty shody.I don't think I would choose this hotel again ,unless I had no alternative.
our second stay at clarion.for the price we paid through lidl break- its good value for money.rooms are clean, basic (our bathroom a bit small) with free internet and wifi in communal areas. Hotel is comfy and welcoming- but could do with a make over. Had great feed in bar restaurant and lovely breakfast next morning. staff v friendly and helpful.advisable to make payment night before as there was very long queue at reception in morn.bar is pricey if youre planning on having an evening of drinks (glass wine 5.40)
**** Hotel location excellent. Nice bedrooms. Excellent food in restaurant. One major problem is there is no lift. Hotel not suitable for elderly or persons with mobility problems.
4 stars The hotel was very comfortable. Nice clean bedroom. Food excellent. The main disadvantage is the hotel does not have a lift therefore one has to take heavy suitcases up the stairs. Not suitable for elderly or persons with walking difficulties. Fionnuala
Our stay in the Clarion Hotel Dublin Airport was very good value for money and made good sense when we had an early morning flight. We were particularly impressed with the food served in the dining room and with the waiting staff who were on duty the night of March 30.
WE BOOKED THIS HOTEL AS A NIGHT AWAY TO USE THE POOL AREA AND HAVE A RELAXING NIGHT AWAY. WHEN WE ARRIVED THE HOTEL STAFF WAS REALLY FRIENDLY AND ROOMS WERE LOVELY. ONLY ONE PROBEM WE HAD WAS THE POOL IS NOT ACTUALLY IN THE HOTEL BUT ACROSS THE ROAD AND THERE IS ALSO A FEE OF 10E EACH, WE WERE NOT TOLD OF THIS AND BY THE TIME WE LOACTED THE POOL IT WAS SHUT. AFTER ASKING TWO MEMBERS OF STAFF ABOUT HOW TO GET TO THE POOL, BOTH TIMES WE WERE SENT IN THE WRONG DIRECTION. WOULD ONLY STAY IN THIS HOTEL AGAIN IF GOING ABROAD ON AN EARLY FLIGHT, AND NOT FOR A NIGHT AWAY.
I like the architecture, it functions wel The food was adequate Bed comfortable Quiet, even though very near the terminal Not cheap but good value for the money
Hotel very nice and good value for money but the food in the restaurant is terrible, we stayed twice and first time we ordered from the special lidl menu and the main course of chicken was not nice at all, this time we paid 12 euro more for the steak and not only was it not cooked to our liking but it was the toughest steak ever and just digusting! Coulple of the staff in restaurant acted like we were lower class because we were on lidl break! overall hotel is very nice but watch out for the food and the head waitress in the restauarnt.
we had a very plesant stay at the clarion dublin airport, the staff were so plesant , & helpful ,another surprise we had was i asked at reception if they might have a wheelchair in the hotel as my 85 year old mother was with us and found it a little long to walk to her room ,and they had a wheelchair that she could use for her stay which made life very easy for her,I would safely say the restuarant is among one of the best in the country, fantastic lidl break value . only down side parking very difficult to find ,the car park allways full ,Narry
i was happy with the hotel, but 1 of my family left something in there room, she ring the hotel and the said their was nothing left in the room, and the over charge 1 of my family aswell. I dont no if 1 would tell a friend.
we really enjoyed our stay at the Clarion Hotel Dublin, the rooms were beautiful ,staff very friendly, food was excellent, was a bit surprised to have to pay for car parking at the hotel. all in all a very enjoyable experience
I liked the position of the hotel. I thought for a four star hotel the bathroom was basic however the room was clean and tidy. The staff most helpful. The fact that you can park your car there when away is great along with the courtesy bus. I would go back and I would recommend it. Ger Byrne
Clarion Airport Hotel. What we liked. We found the bedrooms very clean and comfortable, the staff helpful and the breakfast both tasty and filling. What we didn't like. The common parts were cold (it was during the recent cold spell) There was no lift (only a goods lift) Bar prices were very expensive for example a bottle of water %u20AC4.95. Lidl Breaks we thought were good value and would certainly consider using Lidl again.
Incredible value for money. Rooms were basic but very comfortable. We had the dinner as part of the package and were thrilled with the quality of the food and the friendliness of the service. Breakfast is a very generous affair. A group of eleven stayed and not one person has a complaint. Amazing value.
Hi, Just returned from a 5 day break in Berlin. Stayed at the Clarion on the night of 12th.October. We were more than pleased with everything, could not fault it in any way and it was great value. Certainly would use the Clarion again and Thank You Lidl. Sincerely, Michael and Clare Goggin, Cork
We were absolutely bowled over by the wonderful, warm friendly staff. They were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. We had a twin room which was the height of comfort and the breakfast the next morning was quite stunning. It is hard for us to only rate this hotel with five stars as we felt that 20 stars would be nearer our idea for the Clarion Airport Hotel. A thorough comfort zone and we hope to be back very, very soon. We highly recommend everyone to stay here.
hi there,we were absololutely delighted to have stayed in the clarion hotel and could not believe the transformation since we stayed there under a different umbrella.the service was a1 and the shuttle service to the airport was fab.we will have no hesitation in staying there again.we will defitinely recommend it to our friends.really enjoyed the hake in the restaurant.many thanks.tony and lily o loughlin
I stayed in Clarion on Sunday night last and I found it excellent in every way. It was spotlessly clean and food was good. Staff were friendly, efficient and courteous. This was my first Lidl break and I found it provided great value for money. The hotel deserves four stars. Well done to all involved.
Just to say the hotel was very nice and the staff as well
great value for money and great location near Dublin airport willdefinately use Lidl breaks again
Our check in was good fast and efficient. The walk to our room was long. The room was Ok, clean with the basics. The room was made up for a larger occupancies, as the fold away couch was made up as an extra bed leaving us no room to sit to watch TV. There was no TV remote or hotel guide. We had dinner in the restaurant. We were advised to make a reservation, which we did. We were taken to our table at 19.50. We finished and paid for the meal at 22.00. A little over 2hrs. They were not booked out, the service was poor, the food disappointing and overpriced. Twice we had to repeat our request for service. I would not eat in there again. The breakfast was Ok. Again the lay out was poor. We were told what was available and left to our own accord to find where every thing was located. There were people walking around the room looking for the bread, cereals etc. Not good for the old, and there were a good few. The check out was again efficient. When asked about the stay, the receptionist just looked at me and asked if I complained to the night staff about the dinner. Would we stay there again, only if it was the last room at Dublin airport and we will not eat in the restaurant.
Very impressed with this hotel. The food was beautiful and the room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and accomodating. Would definitely return here again. Very convenient for airport and shuttle bus was great.
nice clean fresh hotel right near the airport. food was lovely staff very friendly and helpful.our room was on the small side but it airport hotel so didn't mind really. they also give free ticket to city center on certain shuttle buses which was very handy. would def stay again and lidl offer was super!
